Pacific Care Home is a licensed, 6 bed residential board and care community for the elderly. Pacific was establised in 1996 with four locations, all serving the mid-peninsula area. We provide a nurturing, caring environment for the elderly where they can thrive.
“Our Dad moved into the Pacific Care Home in February 2013 almost 2-1/2 years ago. Both my sister and I have been delighted with the quality of service and the level of care our Dad has received. Both owners, Billy and Raffy have created a “culture of caring” that has clearly influenced the staff. We are confident that our Dad is safe and receiving the appropriate level of support from the team at Pacific.
When we began our evaluation of residential care homes our criteria was safety, cleanliness and quality of service. Pacific hands down met all of our requirements and we have not been disappointed. The quality of the food (thank you Vicky) and the care provided by the likes of Moodie, Gina, Melody and Nancy is excellent, and of course Roland keeps the facility in great shape. We could not have made a better decision.
Each room has a ½ bath attached and the rooms themselves are sized adequately. The common areas; living room, kitchen and dining area and the recreational area are perfect for those with limited mobility. The outside grounds are very well maintained, and in particular the backyard (shared with a second residential care home that is part of Pacific} is immaculate and often hosts birthday parties and other events such as 4th of July celebrations.
Our Dad celebrated his 100th birthday at Pacific and they hosted a very nice party for him. This is typical of the staff and owners of Pacific.
If we had to make the decision again, Pacific would be the winner. A big thanks you to the team at Pacific Care Home.”

"When my father moved in to Pacific Care Home, I was able to sleep and stop worrying about whether he was safe. He was not getting the care he needed at his previous assisted living facility. The caregivers and staff at Pacific have become our "adopted family members" as they care for my father as if he's their own family member. They are very attentive to my father's needs and know how to deal with his particular ways. There are certain foods he does not like and Vicky even cooks special dishes that he likes. If issues or problems arise that require special or medical attention, the staff is prompt in notifying me. Having my father at Pacific has allowed me to have peace of mind."

“After struggling with home care it was time to find a live in situation for my dear mother who suffers from advanced dementia. The situation for me was heartbreaking. It was such a gift and a relief to find Pacific Care Home where my mother now has lived for the past two years. At Pacific Care Home she remains in a safe, comfortable, and joyful home environment. Care givers and other live in clients all become part of a larger family that is supportive and loving. She has more stimulation and companionship and the constant care she needs. The home is fresh, comfortable, clean and attractive. The outdoor grounds are lovely. The staff is caring and ever present. I could not be happier that I found this place! Where I can’t change the sad circumstances that my mom encountered with her dementia condition, I find great comfort in the fact that she is well cared for and that I can see her often. Life feels positive and normal again for us both.”
